  • Who we are and how you can contact us

    We are the issuer of the foreign exchange and fund transfer products described in this document. Our company details are:

  • Our Products

    This PDS must be read together with Everforex’s Terms and Conditions, which are available at www.everforex.ca or by contacting us and requesting them. We offer the following two products:

    • Traditional Counter ExchangeYou may approach Everforex in person or by phone, fax or email to request the real-time foreign exchange rate. For example, a customer wants to exchange Australian dollars to US dollars. If the rate is 0.7700, then 100 Australian dollars will be exchanged to 77 US dollars.

      If you agree to the exchange rate, you have the option to pay us by: cash, cheque, or funds transfer; and we have the options to pay you by: cash, cheque, or funds transfer, whichever you prefer.
    • Everforex Online ExchangingEverforex has developed a next generation internet-based foreign exchange platform, Everforex Online, based on its strong business practices and IT resources.

      Everforex Online can save you time and resources by managing your real-time foreign exchange transaction via the web-based application Everforex Online.

      Everforex Online allows you to:

      • enquire about rates and send cleared funds to Everforex by cash, cheque or funds transfer for exchanging;
      • login to Everforex Online by clicking "My Account" on the home page of Everforex website www.everforex.ca;
      • enter the detailed deposit information and submit it to Everforex;
      • after Everforex verifies the payment, conduct the online foreign exchange against the real-time rates, at a time of your choosing;
      • either send your funds transfer instructions to Everforex, or physically collect currency from Everforex.
  • Fee structures

    • For all of the foreign exchange transactions, we do not charge any fees or commissions (although we make our money on the particular rates offered to you);
    • All international telegraphic transfers (T/T) are charged for a flat fee CAD $20.00 per transfer.

    While processing an international telegraphic transfer, the correspondent bank, middle bank and/or the receiving bank may charge a processing fee. The final received amount may be slightly less than the original sent amount. Those charges are beyond the control of Everforex, and we cannot predict the amount of these fees in advance or whether they will occur.

    If the payment is returned by the overseas bank due to the incorrect or incomplate beneficary information provided by the customer, a seperate transfer fee may be applicable for the second transfer.
  • The risks

    Foreign exchange contracts involve currency market movement risks. For example: if a customer performs a foreign exchange transaction, the value of the currency that they are converting into may move in an adverse direction, but the customer will be bound to its initial transaction. As Everforex is not allowed to provide personal advice for financial products, you may wish to seek independent advice and also consider your own circumstances carefully before entering into foreign exchange transactions with us.

    There is another risk your funds may be delayed or lost due to force majeure. Everforex will not provide a refund due to force majeure as defined in the case law of Australia. This includes catastrophic disasters, terrorist attacks and other events that affect the funds transfer service.

  • The benefits

    Everforex offers “low-spread” foreign exchange and safe, quick and cheap international funds transfer. “Low-spread” means that the gap between which Everforex buys and sells currency is small or “low” – lower, in fact, than most of its competitors.

    Everforex Online enables you to perform online FX transactions using real-time rates from your own office or home.

  • Tax implications

    Whether our products will have tax implications for you will depend on your particular circumstances. You may wish to seek tax advice in relation to this.

  • How your complaints are handled

    Everforex has a dispute resolution procedure to resolve any complaints you may have, quickly and fairly.

    All complaints should be directed to the Complaints Manager, who will seek to resolve your complaint within 2 weeks, by phone call or in writing:
